Education Team

Taylor Usry (Social Media Manager)
I've been working for Crafter's Companion for well over two years now, and my role is the Social Media Manager. That means I'm responsible, in the US and the UK, for keeping you informed about our new launches and giving you the sneak peeks from our Design Team to show you exactly what you can make with the new goodies. I also put together competitions and giveaways, giving you the chance to get your hands on fabulous prizes! I post inspiration, hints, tips, and crafty questions across our social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and our blogs. I do all of these things as well for Spectrum Noir! If there's anything you'd like to see more of on these platforms please let me know!

Kendra Wietstock (Design Teams Coordinator)

I work as a full time designer from my home and have been with the Crafter's Companion team since 2012. In addition to designing for various crafting companies over the last 10 years, I have also taught classes in my home and at local scrapbook stores. I love working on all types of crafting projects, but spend most of my time making layouts and cards. I live in Northern Indiana with my high-school sweetheart {and husband} and we have two fabulous teenagers ~ Megan & Matt. Outside of crafting ~ our family loves to travel and I enjoy reading and spending time with the great band kids at our high school as a marching band mom.

Alexis Misso

My name is Alexia and I live on Long Island, NY. I’m married to my soul mate and together we have two beautiful children. I have been crafting for about five years now and I enjoy every second of it. I usually craft at night because I love the quiet and peacefulness, that’s also because it’s the only time I can think straight when the kids are sleeping. Besides playing with paper and glue, preparing foods and being a care giver for my family are some other routines which I enjoy doing. Life is great!

I’m Annie Williams and I am currently living in Tennessee with my husband of almost 9 years, a little boy we recently welcomed into our lives, and two cats.  I am a scientist by day and papercrafter by night.  Although I have been crafting for most of my life, I only just started my blog a few years ago and have enjoyed sharing a mix of home decor, handmade card, and gift ideas ever since.  Although I'd characterize my style as simple and traditional, I love to experiment with new types of media and various coloring techniques.  My projects often reflect my other interests which include outdoorsy things like hiking, biking, and canoeing as well as a love of travel, small towns, and nature photography.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Crafter's Companion Design Team and can't wait to share my projects with you!

I live in the Chicagoland area with my wonderful husband, son, daughter and crazy dog. I work full-time as Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Operator at a small print company. I I started papercrafting around 1997, but I ended up just hoarding supplies and not completing any projects. A few years ago, my love of papercrafting was rekindled when I was invited to scrapbook at a friend’s house. I have been obsessed ever since!!! I am thrilled to be returning to the Crafter's Companion Team!!!!

I’m Dana and I live in Brighton, Michigan. I’m currently doing school full time and working in retail part time. I have been card making for about 11ish years or so and in 2011 (I think, hehe) I started my blog. Since then I have been lucky enough to be published, to be a part of a few different design teams and make some awesome friends along the way! I am mainly a card maker and my great crafty love is stamping, so I really love my stamps and inks! I love mixing stamping with different techniques and products, for example: stencils, dies, pattern paper, ink, paint and embellishments. A love of coloring has grown over the past couple years, too! I’m excited to be joining the Crafter’s Companion Design Team and I hope you will enjoy my creations!

Emily Frasier

I live in Louisiana and a mother of 2 rambunctious boys ages 8 and 5.  I worked as a reporting analyst and IT project manager, and I am currently pursuing my MBA.  I started stamping in 2004, but just started sharing my cards on social networks the last few years.  I love stamping and card making and I hope to inspire you through my works.

I have always loved vintage, and that has influenced my work. By the age of 9, I had a large collection of beaded purses, antique clothes, boxes of old photos and ephemera.  I was a very successful bead artist, but my beaded pieces took 500-1000 hours to complete. About 13 years ago, I started scrapbooking, when my first nephew was born. I instantly fell in love with the immediacy of the medium (compared to the crazy hours I spent beading!) I have really grown to love the paper crafting industry and enjoy finding new ways to take my pieces to the next level.  I’m married to a very supportive husband, who teaches high school chorus– so while I’m getting crafty, he’s busy with his music. He doesn't craft with me, but he is my biggest cheerleader.  We are blessed to live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina – an area that could inspire anyone to create.

I'm Ginny Nemchak I live with my hubby and son in a small town on a dirt road out in the country and think that's the best place in the world to be. I've been crafting my entire life in some form or other...but have really found a passion in paper crafting. Anything from altered art to cards and gifts. My crafting philosophy is more is better...more layers...more inks...more flowers.just more of everything! I'm always up to learn a new technique or try a new medium. I'm excited to join this team and looking forward to working with such an amazing group of talented artists.

Hi, my name is Giovana, born and raised in my beautiful Peru!! I moved to the States in 2002 after marrying my wonderful husband David. I started making card in 2004, my style was clean and simple then, now it has changed in a good and better way. I love to try new techniques, lately I've been enjoying mixed media projects. I am extremely excited to work for Crafter's Companion USA and I hope you enjoy my creations.

Hello friends! In a former life, I worked 20+ years in corporate finance. I left that world in the late 90's and found myself with way too much free time. I began art journaling to keep myself busy. It was suggested that I try art therapy and somehow that morphed into stamping and card making. I was aggressively busy in paper crafts for many years, but took a short hiatus last year to downsize our housing as all of our boys were leaving home. Now as empty nesters, I find myself spending many hours in the studio, just playing! I am thrilled that Crafter's Companion has asked me to join their team!

Hello from the beautiful state of Colorado.  It’s where I call home and I can’t image living anywhere else.  I share my wonderful life with my ever-supportive husband, my amazing daughter with her soon to be husband, and the most adorable granddaughter to ever exist (no prejudice there, really!).  I can’t remember a day when I wasn’t involved in some sort of craft or artwork.  From pottery to textiles, oil pastels to needlecraft, I have always been creating and have tried just about everything.  About 20 years ago I started scrapbooking and that’s when papercrafting took over all other forms of artistic expression.  I have worked in the publishing industry as an author, writer, editor and artist, helping to create well over 150 books and magazines dedicated to papercrafting.  A dream job for sure!  Now I am blessed to be a new part of the Crafter’s Companion Educational Design Team and I can’t wait to explore and play with all the wonderful products they provide.  My hope is that you can find inspiration in my artistic creations.

Well over 10 years ago, I ventured into the paper crafting industry with scrapbooking and card making. Eventually, I moved into rubber stamping and this led me into the world of coloring. Through this world of coloring, I found Crafter's Companion and all of their awesome products, and stamping and coloring soon became my passion (obsession!). I am so excited to be a part of the Crafter's Companion design team and am looking forward to creating projects to both inspire and help others learn new ways to use their products.  I live in northern Illinois and work as a pre-press operator for a global pre-press company. I share my world with my husband Ken, my three boys, ages 26, 24 and 17, a daughter-in-law, a daughter-in-law in waiting, and a beautiful 1 year old granddaughter. Oh... and I can’t forget our two spunky little Yorkies!

Kerin Sylvester

I live in Massachusetts with my wonderful husband Jeff and our two boys, Ben and Nick. I have always had a love for paper crafts. I began by creating scrapbooks when my boys were little (they're 20 and 16 now!), then about 10 years ago I was invited to a friend's house to stamp and I was hooked! The instant gratification of creating something and being able to share it won me over immediately. I favor creating cards and especially enjoy coloring! I work in a corporate Accounting office during the day and I love to get crafty at night.  I am SO excited to be part of the Crafter's Companion Design Team, and I hope that you enjoy my creations!

I'm super excited to be part of the Crafter's Companion team. About 10 years ago I became hooked on art stamping and paper crafting. In 2008 I started designing and teaching classes here in Arizona. There's nothing better than sharing my creative journey with other crafters who love stamps, inks and paper as much as I do! Clean and Simple (CAS) cards are my favorite, but, I love trying new styles and techniques. I live in Gilbert, Arizona with my husband and youngest daughter.

Lori Williams
My name is Lori Williams and I’m a happy fun loving southern girl from Western North Carolina, USA.  I’m thrilled to be able to work with Crafters Companion as they have a little bit of everything, plus I get the joy of working with my sister Gini, who also serves on the team.  Gini and I live right next door to each other so we are constantly encouraging, critiquing and enabling each other.    My background is in Metals/Production Crafts but I’ve always worked with various forms of mediums, including pottery, metal, fabric and paper. I try to incorporate some of my metal into my current work whenever I can.   My style is one that is clean yet very detailed and I love to create handmade paper flowers. I have two adorable little boys, Cole and Will, that have stolen my heart, along with our Wheaten Terrier, Finley.  There is never a dull moment in our household, that’s for sure.   I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with family and believe it or not…. pushing myself in Crossfit/Circuit Training.  My goal in life is to be better today than I was yesterday and to make sure I pay it forward.

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I live in Southern California with my family, four little pups, and fiancé, Daniel. I discovered stamping and card making in 2014 and it quickly grew to become my favorite hobby. I love coloring cute images, using patterned paper, and adding sparkle and glitter to every project! Aside from crafting, I also enjoy watching movies, reading, and playing video games with my friends. I am so excited to be joining the Crafter's Companion Education Design Team!
